Founder's Message

Every journey begins with a moment of clarity. For me, that moment came during the the COVID-19 pandemic. As I watched our community grapple with sudden job losses, reduced incomes, and growing uncertainty, I knew I had to take meaningful action.

Through my work with local nonprofits, I saw how hygiene insecurity quietly affects our neighbors’ health, dignity, and opportunities. This wasn’t just about distributing products. It was about recognizing that every person deserves to maintain their health and dignity, especially during life’s hardest moments.

What began as a personal calling has grown into the Lincoln Hygiene Network, an organization dedicated to ensuring that no one has to choose between basic hygiene needs and other life essentials.

We’re building a community of compassion and action, working alongside partners and volunteers who share our vision where everyone has access to basic hygiene care. We invite you to be part of this journey. Together, we can make a lasting difference in the lives of our neighbors.

Focus Areas

Period Hygiene

By providing period products, we help ensure that women and girls can manage their periods safely and hygienically, allowing for full and uninterrupted participation in school, work, and community life.

By providing body hygiene products, we promote physical health and prevent the social barriers often associated with lack of cleanliness.

By providing hair hygiene products, we help individuals maintain clean hair and a healthy scalp, preventing dermatological issues and boosting confidence.
