In an era where hygiene products are a daily necessity, it's disheartening to realize that some individuals, especially seniors, find it challenging to access products that provide for their unique needs.
At Lincoln Hygiene Network, our mission is to bridge this gap and empower seniors with the essential care they deserve. To accomplish this, we have placed Senior Hygiene Closets in four agencies throughout Lincoln. This program provides essential hygiene products to individuals aged 55 and above through collaboration with Asian Community & Cultural Center, Barnabas Community, Good Neighbor Community Center, and Ponca Tribe NE.
Seniors can experience more allergies and sensitive skin issues due to various factors such as changes in the immune system, coexisting conditions, and the presence of other chronic health issues. We provide a variety of hygiene product brands to ensure that if a particular brand doesn’t work well for an individual, that another type or brand is available to choose from.
Today, we are going to delve deeper into two products we provide access to for our local seniors – Coloplast Sween® Lotion and Coloplast Gentle Rain® Extra Mild Sensitive Skin Moisturizing Body Wash and Shampoo – that meet the needs of senior well-being.
Both of these products are specially formulated for individuals with sensitivities and other skin concerns.
Coloplast Sween® Lotion
Sween® Lotion is a moisturizing lotion enriched with vitamin E, a powerful natural element for deep skin nourishment. This non-occlusive formula ensures hydration without clogging pores, providing a unique solution for senior skin care.

Coloplast Gentle Rain® Extra Mild Sensitive Skin Moisturizing Body Wash and Shampoo

Seniors can trust this product to cleanse and moisturize without the risk of irritation or adverse reactions. It’s also hypoallergenic, dye-free, and ph-Balanced.
